Holy Name Boys Soccer Alumni Game
Time: 9am first game check-in, games start at 9:30
Location: Cicerchi Field
Format: Tournament of 6v6 (w/ GK) and half field. Schedule to be posted 1 week prior to the tournament.
Entry Fee: $50
Details: Join us for a competitive day of soccer as we bring together past players to reconnect, relive great moments and showcase their skills on the field.
Teams: Alumni and current players will be grouped by either graduation year, mixed teams or pre-formed teams (depending on number of registrations).
Game Length: 25 minutes. If tied after 25 minutes the game will be decided by 3 PK's.
Rules: all standard rules apply. Game official will be on site.
Prizes and Recognition: Trophies and prizes to be given to the top team. All registrants will receive an alumni game t-shirt.
Food and Drink: Post-tournament gathering and lunch beginning at 1:30pm. Food and drink tickets will be given to all registrants. Additional food and drink can be purchased.

The Esports Clinic will provide a hands-on experience where participants develop key gaming skills like reaction time, keyboard and mouse control, and PC troubleshooting. Guided by coaches from Holy Name and Cleveland State University, students will apply these skills in structured gameplay sessions while learning about strategy, teamwork, and communication. The clinic also introduces the technology behind esports, giving participants a deeper understanding of competitive gaming. Whether new to esports or looking to improve, attendees will gain valuable skills and insights to take their gameplay to the next level!

Before one can know, one must study. In this workshop, students will learn how to learn. Day one will be focused on general guidelines for studying, tips and tricks, what can help and hurt our success, and how to prepare for a big test.
They will use these ideas to study for a short exam on the second day – success on this exam will confer a small prize. Students will then learn different studying techniques and mindsets that they may find beneficial for the future

Students will learn about the history of art in the renaissance, one of the greatest cultural revolutions of all time, whose works inspire millions around the world. Many of these pieces have a focus on religious and historical figures that color our perceptions still today.
Students will study some of the greatest pieces of art ever crafted, learning about the artists behind them, their inspirations and methods, as well as the cultural impact they attained.

The trivium – the lower division of the seven liberal arts that formed the basis of classical learning for centuries. The three aspects of the trivium are grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Each day will focus on one of these aspects.
Day 1: Grammar – Assuming students already know basic grammar, this workshop will instead cover some nuances of grammar (particularly in speaking), practice writing, and cover some facts about nature.
Day 2: Logic – Students will learn how to think critically, how to analyze data and arguments for validity and logical consistency.
Day 3: Rhetoric – Students will take what they have learned the first two days and learn how to formulate their own arguments. Students will pick from a preset list of topics to develop their own argument for – in writing and orating
